The eight shows attracted a total audience of more than 1,200 people and the cheque was presented to the charity at the end of the final performance.

Diana Wimble, one of the organisers of the production, said: "We'd like to say a big thanks to everyone who contributed. A fancy dress competition was also held with prizes presented by Kim Groves of Demelza House. The audience enjoyed a tea in the interval and a good time was had by all."
