A CHARITY'S campaign for climate change has been launched in Tunbridge Wells.

Oxfam's Here and Now drive aims to raise £40m over five years to fund its climate change work and to help the world's poorest people.

Residents joined Oxfam's Tunbridge Wells shop manager Norma Morris to launch the campaign beneath the King Charles the Martyr Church clock.

She said: "It's fantastic to launch our Here and Now campaign in Tunbridge Wells.

"In our programmes we are already seeing the human cost of climate change in our work, with unpredictable weather having a devastating effect."
