NORTON Sports are hoping to close the gap on the club above them in the Kent League, Croydon, when the teams meet in Surrey on Saturday.

Norton, who are 11th in the table in their first season in the league, have had a good run lately but lost their most recent game 5-3 to Greenwich Borough.

They scored through Frazer Rogers Tommy Price and Tony Clark but were weakened by injuries and Greenwich won it in the second half.
