New team put stamp on revamped school library
A NEW team of student librarians have been trained up to help fellow pupils at Hartsdown Academy.
The revamped library is run by librarian/learning resources manager Steve Bradshaw, who took over the unit in September.

He said: "Our centre is a friendly place where students can chill, enjoy a chat and browse through the thousands of books we have on offer."
A new team of librarians are up to speed on the libraries classification system.

Mr Bradshaw said: "I want our students to find books that challenge them, that make them think and feel, and inspire them. Whether its fact, fiction, research, biographies and autobiographies – it's all here waiting to be explored."
A range of activities are planned including a debating society, film club, a board games league, a poetry group and a book group.
Mr Bradshaw said: "Books are fantastic for generating real discussion."
