Deanna Cooper, who plays for England's under-17s cricket team, officially opened the new asset on July 2.

The work on the site, which already features a basketball court, was paid for by the Big Lottery Fund.

Swale Council's portfolio holder for culture Cllr Bryan Mulhern said: "This equipment is a great addition to Murston, and we hope that it will encourage people of all ages to come and try it out.

"What's great about this new equipment is that it can be used by people of all abilities. We hope that it encourages everyone to be more active."
