New chief executive for Medway Maritime Hospital
MEDWAY Maritime Hospital has appointed a new chief executive.
Mark Devlin, former head of Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, has taken over from Peter Coles, who held the position on an interim basis after the resignation of Andy Horne late last year.

New role: Mark Devlin is the new head of Medway Maritime Hospital
Mr Horne had served for seven years as chief executive.
Mr Devlin has worked in NHS management for 20 years.

Vernon Hull, Medway NHS Foundation Trust's chairman said: "We had a very strong field of candidates for the post of chief executive and I am very pleased to announce Mark's appointment and extend to him a warm welcome.
"Mark has a great deal of experience in the NHS in a wide variety of roles; he led one of the major teaching hospital divisions at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust
"He was also the deputy chief executive at North West London Hospitals prior to his appointment at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust."
