SOME might accuse a Rusthall brewer of trying to cash in on the royal wedding – but Yudhistra Moodley believes his latest "elegant and tasteful" real ale reflects the characters of Prince William and Kate.

So confident is he that he will send the newlyweds a crate of Royal Match to enjoy on their honeymoon.

Mr Moodley of Moodley's Brewery in Penshurst said the ale was best served cold and went well with summer food, making it perfect for street parties and barbecues.

He said: "When Prince Charles married Lady Diana Spencer in 1981, 147 brewers created special brews and, at the Queen's Silver Jubilee, over 70 regional breweries created a commemorative drink.

"We therefore wanted to do something to mark the royal wedding of 2011 and play our part in history."
