Mystery artwork appears on cliffs in Cliftonville
VISITORS to Cliftonville have been met with three pieces of artwork put up by an anonymous painter in a manner reminiscent of guerrilla artist Banksy.
Pinned up to the seafront wall below the Lido on the Lower Promenade, the artwork is about 10ft up the cliff face. It appeared last week in the early hours of Wednesday.

Guerillaart

The mystery artist says the guerrilla style of pinning it to the cliff face is as far as the Banksy comparison goes.
He said: “I think spraying on walls is a bit dated and to me that’s vandalism. This has all been done on canvas and hung securely to the cliff face.
“I’m now looking for other areas around Thanet to put the artwork so keep your eyes peeled.”

What do you think? Does the art add to the cliff face or is it just vandalism?

“I think that you have a gift and if you would like to donate one to our school bearing in mind they are students with special need and love bright colours we would be most grateful.
