​SCOTT WOOLFORD'S hopes of causing an upset against former British champion Young Mutley were ended in the third round last night.

The welterweight bout at the Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre in Nottingham was stopped by referee Terry O'Connor.

Ramsgate fighter Woolford was hoping to put himself in the frame for a title shot but admitted Mutley was favourite going into the fight.
