Man cautioned during drugs busts
A FAVERSHAM man was cautioned for possession of cocaine after a string of drugs busts last month.
Police with sniffer dogs raided seven Sittingbourne pubs in an operation which uncovered evidence about suspected drug users in Swale. A pouch of pills was also discovered and sent away for analysis.
Sergeant Tim Hill of the Community Safety Unit said: "The aim of the operation was to disrupt and detect the use and sale of illegal substances across the area.
"We will be carrying out this operation regularly to ensure that anyone involved in this activity realises that if you attempt to use or sell drugs in Swale, the police will be looking to arrest you promptly and put you before the courts."
The 27-year old was given a police caution.
