M26 junction 5 slip road campaign backed by Borough Green villagers
VILLAGERS in Borough Green have rushed to support a campaign for slip roads to be built at junction five of the M26, cutting down traffic and pollution in the community.
Borough Green Traffic Action Group chairman Tim Shaw, who runs the J5Slips campaign in favour of the construction of the east-facing slip roads, has been canvassing for signatures for a referendum run by the Chronicle last month.

"I am so pleased with the response to the referendum – shops like Nisa and the chippie have been keeping the slips on their counters for us, so people can sign while they pay.
"Everyone is getting behind this and it's great to see how supportive they are of what we are trying to achieve."
