FORMER Sittingbourne and Dartford goalkeeper Del Ibrahim has signed his first professional contract.

The 19-year-old left this week for Malta to play for newly-promoted St Andrews when the season starts there next month.

Ibrahim spent last season on loan to Sittingbourne from Dartford and ended up a medal winner when the team won the Kent Senior Cup final at Folkestone.

He was also chosen as player-of-the-round after his heroics for Dartford against Hastings United in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup two seasons ago when he came into the Darts team at the last moment.
