Legends of Grasstrack
ASTRA Grass Track Club stage this year's British Masters Grass Track Championships at Rhodes Minnis this Sunday, August 1.
As well as the Masters title the solo class also features the Monty Banks Trophy in memory of the Capel-based motorcycling legend who sadly passed away last year.
Monty's Trevor, a former double British Champion who now lives in France, will present the trophy.
Astra meetings at Rhodes Minnis always feature a reunion of former riders and this year's attendance looks like a 'Who's Who' of the sport - headed by four times World Speedway Champion Barry Briggs who first rode at the track in the late 50s.
