Sheerness: Ken Pugh, Conservative, with 1,275 votes. Labour’s Anglea Harrison was in second with 1,114 votes (a swing of -21.67 per cent). Third was the BNP candidate Graeme Sergeant with 539 votes. Independent candidate David Cassidy was fourth with Lib Dem Colin Howe with 330 votes.
Herne and Sturry result: Conservative candidate Robert Marsh with 2083 votes, and a swing of 3.72 per cent. Ukip came in second with candidate John Moore polling 1,095 and a massive increase of 18.93 per cent of the vote on last elections. Third was Monica Eden-Green for the Lib Dems with 826 and trailing forth Cecile Manning with 472 votes.
Canterbury South East result: Win for Michael Northey, Conservative, with 2,458 votes. In second place Nigel Whitburn for the Liberal Democrats and third Judith Meaden for the Green Party with Labour trailing fourth. Candidate David McLellan only polled 356 votes, a swing of -10.53 per cent.
Canterbury West result:
Win for the Conservative candidate John Simmonds with 2,119 increasing his party’s vote by 6.89 per cent.
In second place the Lib Dem’s Derek Maslin with 988 votes, down on the party’s share at the last election.
In third place Norman Evans from the Green Party and in fourth Ian Leslie with 387 votes, a swing against Labour of -11.36 per cent.
Canterbury City North East:
Win for Graham Gibbens of the Conservative party with 1,625.
In second place is Lib Dem Joanna Calvert-Mindell with 1,19,1 increasing her party’s share of the vote by 7.88 per cent.
In third Geoffrey Meaden for the Green Party and in last place with 351 votes was Alan Baldock for Labour.
Labour’s share of the vote went down 17.89 per cent.
Canterbury City South West: First win for the Liberal Democrats with Martin Vye returned with 2,263 increasing his party’s share of the vote by more than nine per cent. In second place Maureen Robinson for the Conservatives. Third Elaine Godden for the Green Party and in final place Jean Butcher for Labour with 391 votes, a swing of -16.56 per cent against the party.
Sheppy: Conservative candidate Adrian Crowther returned with 1,755 votes.
Second place Patricia Sandle, independent, with 711 votes.
Labour came in third with candidate David Sargent polling 622 votes.
The BNP are fourth, Lib Dems fith and Made Mike Young for the Official Monster Raving Loony Party polling 252 votes.
Sevenoaks East: KCC finance boss Nick Chard is back at county hall with 2,575 votes, a swing of -1.55 per cent. Lib Dem Merilyn Canet is in second with 1,170. Third is Carol White for the English Democrats with 553 votes.
The Green Party are in fourth with candidate Jo Dyton polling 442 votes.
In last place is Labour’s candidate Sarah Goodall with 219 votes, a cut in the party’s share of the vote of more than 10 per cent.
Swanley: Conservative win for Robert Brookbank with 1,549 votes, increasing his party’s swing of the vote by nearly 13 per cent. In second place Steve Uncles of English Democrats who is also standing for the party in the European elections. Ian Rashbrook for Labour is in third with 823 votes, losing 11.51 per cent of the vote from the last elections. In last place is Alan Bullion for the Lib Dems with 428 votes.
Faversham: Conservative candidate Tom Gates is returned with 2,412 votes. Lib Dem Stephen Rowlstone takes second place with 798. Trevor Payne for the Labour and Co-Operative party is third with 682, just two votes behind them in fourth, Shirley Allen for Ukip with 680 votes, increasing her party’s share of the vote by more than 13 per cent. Gary Miller for the Green Party takes last place with 553 votes.
Sevenoaks West: Win for the Conservative candidate Richard Parry with 2,727 votes. Independent Penny Kift came second with 758 votes. In third is Richard Wassell for the Lib Dems with 756 votes. In fourth JJ Snape for English Democrats with 424 votes. In last place Kevin Flack for Labour with 252 votes a swing against the party of 10.59 per cent.
Sevenoaks Central: Conservative candidate John London is elected with 3,273 votes. In second place Lib Dem John Brigden with 1,164, losing more than 10 per cent of the vote share from the last elections. In third place the Green Party candidate Steve Plater with 545 votes and in last place Rich Snape for English Democrats with 254 votes.
Dartford Rural: Jeremy Kite for the Conservatives takes the division with 2,780 votes. English Democrats candidate Gary Rogers comes second with 1,020. In third Labour’s Garry Sturley with 604 votes and fourth George Sakellariou for the Lib Dems with 451. In last place Geoffrey Pay for the Peace Party with 139 votes. The turn out was 47.5 per cent.
Dartford North East: A win for Conservative candidate Av Sandhu with 1,140 votes. In second place John Muckle for Labour with 1080, a swing against the party of
-23.46 per cent. In third Mike Tibby for English Democrats with 809 votes, equalling a swing of 12.42 per cent. Adam Jarvis is in fourth place with 392 and final place to the BNP’s Barry Taylor.
Birchington villages: Win for Conservative Charles Hibberd.
Swanscombe and Greenhithe: Win for John Lees from the Swanscombe and Greenhithe Residents Association with 1,204 votes. The second place was Sheila East for the Conservatives with 858. In third place was Val Ashenden for the Labour and Co-Operative party with 405 votes. Fourth was Clive Cook for the BNP with 344 votes. English Democrats candidate Jim Read was fifth with 275 votes and in last place James Willis for the Lib Dems with 186 votes.
Margate West: Robert Burgess, Conservative candidate, takes the division with 1,643 votes. In second place came Ukip with 792. In third place was Labour with 513. In fourth was the Lib Dem candidate with 471 votes and English Democrat candidate came 247
Swale East: Win for the Conservative Candidate Andrew Bowles with 2,402 votes. In second place UKIP’s Sarah Larkins with 738 votes and an increase of 15.33 per cent of the vote. Lib Dem David Evans is third with 600. Labour’s Ken Rowles comes fourth with 549 and Timothy Valentine for the Green Party polled 526.
Swale West: Top Tory Keith Ferrin is returned with 2,609 votes. In second place Elvie Lowe for the Lib Dems with 1,348 votes. Labour’s Mike Baldock in third with 700 votes.
Cranbrook: Conservative party candidate Roger Manning is returned with 3,020 votes. In second place Lib Dem Keith Brown with 1,249 votes. In third place Labour’s David Burgess with 281 votes.
Darent Valley: Conservative candidate Roger Gough takes the division with 2,345 votes. Lib Dem Philip McGarvey comes second with 946. In third place is Chris Snape for English Democrats with 918 votes. Labour’s Carol Theobald comes fourth with 517, a swing of -11.89 for the party.
Sevenoaks North East: A win for the Conservatives with candidate David Brazier taking 2,885 votes. Second place to Louise Uncles for English Democrats with 1,091 votes. In third place Lib Dem Phillip Hobson with 697 votes. Last Labour’s James Weekes with 518 votes.
Maidstone Rural North: Kent County Council and Conservative group leader, Paul Carter returned to County Hall with 3,078 votes, increasing his party’s share of the vote by nearly 9 per cent. In second place Ukip’s Gareth Kendall with 818 votes. In third Kenneth Stevens for the Lib Dems with 668 votes. Fourth is Jeanne Gibson with 397 votes, a swing against the party of -13.56 per cent. In last place Ian McDonald with 352 votes.
Maidstone South: A win for Alan Chell for the Conservatives with 1,897 votes. In second place Clive English for the Lib Dems with 1,222 votes. In third Richard Coates for the Labour and Co-Operative party with 341 votes. In fourth the Green Party with Stephen Muggeridge gathering 305 votes. In fifth place independent candidate Sheena Williams with 282 votes and last place to Gary Butler for the National Front with 231 votes.
Maidstone Rural West: A win for Conservative candidate Paulina Stockwell with 2,559 votes. In second place Brian Mortimer with 1,467 votes. In third place Ukip’s Keith Woollven with 825 with an increased swing of 14.87 per cent. The Green Party’s Sandra McDowell is fourth with 397 per cent and Labour and Co-Operative Party candidate Edith Davis last with 300 votes.
Birchington and villages: Charles Hibberd for the Conservatives was elected with 2,661 votes. In second place Lib Dem Bill Furness with 996 votes. In third place English Democrat’s Derek Bradley-Young with 941 votes and in last place Labour’s Denise Cartwright.
Tunbridge Wells South: A win for Conservative candidate James Scholes with 3,203 votes. The Lib Dem’s Christo Skelton in second with 1,544 and Labour’s Lorna Blackmore in third with 438.
Margate West: A win for Conservative candidate Robert Burgess with 1,645 votes. In second place Roz Parker for Ukip with 792. In third Labour’s Kerry Harker with 513 votes. In fourth Margaret Burns with 471 votes and in last place Rayce Knowles for the English Democrats with 247 votes. Ukip pick up most of their votes at Labour’s expense with a swing of -20.61 for Labour and increase of share of 15.24 for Ukip. Turnout was 31.23 per cent.
Tunbridge Wells East: Kevin Lynes, for the Conservatives, takes the division with 2,372 votes. Second place goes to David Neve from the Lib Dems. In third Eileen Gayler for Ukip with 585 votes. In last place Tim Rich for Labour with 324.
Tunbridge Wells West: Conservative candidate John Davies takes the division with 2,716 votes. In second place the Lib Dems candidate Robert Prance with 875 votes. In third Patricia Theophanides for Ukip with 646 votes. In fourth Brian Leslie for the Green party with 632. Last Labour’s Timothy Probert with 325 votes.
Tunbridge Wells North: Conservative candidate Roy Bullock wins with 1,817 votes. In second place Lib Dem Trevor Poile with 1,664 votes. In third with 683 votes Victor Webb for Ukip. In fourth Ronnie Ooi for Labour with 614 votes.
Sevenoaks South: A win for the Conservatives. Peter Lake takes 2,439 votes. In second Vic Jennings for the Lib Dems with 1,078 votes. In third is the Green Party’s Richard Dyton with 632 votes. In last place Dave Snape for English Democrats.
Maidstone North East: The Lib Dems win with candidate Ian Chittenden taking 2,306 votes. In second place Jeff Tree for the Conservatives with 1,159 votes. In third Charles Elliot for Ukip. In last place Derek Eagle for the Green Party with 260 votes.
Malling Central: Kent County Council Lib Dem leader Trudy Dean returned to County Hall with 2,486 votes. In second place the Conservative candidate Alice Hohler with 1,122 votes. In third Peter Stevens with 444 votes for Ukip. In fourth Labour’s David Laverty with 157. In last place Teresa Cannon with 95 votes.
Malling Rural North East: A win for Conservatives, with candidate Peter Homewood taking 3,254 votes. In second David Lettington for the Lib Dems with 1,254, with a -29.64 per cent swing against the party. In third Terry Bilsland for English Democrats with 434. Fourth place goes to Thomas Shelley for Labour with 396 votes. In last place Andrea Ralph with 357 votes for the Green Party.
Gravesham Rural: A win for the Conservatives with candidate Michael Snelling taking 4,109 votes. In second place the English Democrats’ Steven Foreman with 740 votes. In third Green Party candidate Ros Wakeman with 722 votes. In fourth Labour’s Douglas Christie with 652. In last place Ann O’Brien for the Lib Dems with 624 votes. Turn out was 42.95 per cent.
Malling North: Conservative candidate Sarah Hohler takes the division with 2,253 votes. In second Labour’s Paul Hickmott with 1,008 votes. In third Elizabeth Simpson for the Lib Dems with 505 votes. In fourth Lisa Rogers for English Democrats with 432 votes. In fifth Howard Porter for the Green party with 361 votes.
Margate and Cliftonville: Two Conservative candidates returned. Chris Wells with 2,493 and Michael Jarvis with 2,404. Labour’s Clive Hart loses his seat with 2,186. Labour’s Iris Johnston comes fourth with 2,186. In fifth place Ukip with 1,727. The Lib Dems polled 678 and 327.
Maidstone Central: The Lib Dem candidates take the division with Dan Daley polling 4,465 votes and running mate Malcolm Robertson taking 3,749 votes. Jeff Curwood and Paul Butcher for the Conservatives took 2,507 and 2,479 respectively. John Stanford for Ukip took 1,274 votes. Stuart Jeffery polled 908 votes and running mate Wendy Lewis 761 votes. Labour’s Bruce Heald and Marianna Poliszczuk polled 603 and 568 votes respectively. Turnout was 32.44 per cent.
Deal: County council Labour group leader Mike Eddy is out, polling the least votes with 2,342. Conservative's Julie Rook and Kit Smith take the division with 3,914 and 3,660 respectively. Lib Dems Antony Hook, also standing in the Euro elections, and John Trickey, polled 2592 and 2521 respectively. Tery Birkett who also stood for Labour polled 2,420 votes.
Ashford East: Lib Dem George Koowaree takes the division with 2,343 votes. In second place Conservative candidate Ian Cooling with 1,419. In third place Brendan Naughton for Labour sees a swing of -14.98 against his party.
Ashford South: Jim Wedgebury for the Conservatives takes the division with 1,236 votes. In second place Derek Smyth for the Labour and Co-Operative party with 946 votes. In third Jeremy Adby for the Lib Dems with 767 votes. In fourth Karl Rouse for the BNP with 396. In last place Sharon Harvey for the Green Party with 261 votes.
Ashford Central: Conservative candidate Elizabeth Tweed is returned with 2,043 votes and a swing of nearly 11 per cent to the party. In second place the Lib Dem candidate John Hawes with 698 votes. In third Steven Campkin for the Green Party with 589 votes and in last place Sophie Griffith for Labour with 488 votes and a swing against the party of -20.87 per cent.
Ramsgate: Labour’s Liz Green looks like being one of the only of her party returned in the election with a vote of 2,555. Also elected in the division is Conservative John Kirby with the highest number of votes, 2,985. Michael Taylor for the Conservatives came third with Trevor Shonk, for Ukip, polled 2,192. Alan Poole, for Labour, got 2,081 votes. Gerry O’Donnell for Ramsgate First, polled 1,141. Georgina Maddox for the Lib Dems polled 900. Dennis Whiting for the BNP with 892 votes. Richard Perry from the Lib Dems polled 815 votes to come last. The turn out was 30.83 per cent.
Broadstairs and Sir Moses Montefiore: Two Conservatives were returned for the division. Bob Bayford polled the most votes with 4,264 and Bill Hayton 4,027. In third place was Lib Dem Louisa Latham with 2,041 votes. Lib Dem Michael Hart polled 1,711 votes and Jenny Matterface for Labour came last with 1,542 votes.
