Kevin Raine named Margate caretaker manager following sacking of Iain O'Connell
MARGATE have named Chris Kinnear's former assistant manager Kevin Raine as caretaker boss for the rest of the season.
Raine, who worked with Kinnear during Blues' climb to the Nationwide Conference, takes charge for the first time tonight (Tuesday) when Gate face Concord Rangers at Hartsdown Park.
A club spokesman said: "The appointment of a caretaker manager gives the board the time they need to make the right permanent appointment for next season.
Raine succeeds Iain O'Connell who was sacked at the end of last week.
