Kent pupils singing songs with signs
SCHOOLCHILDREN across Kent took time out from class this week to try and bag themselves a world record.
The sign2sing event on Wednesday hoped to smash the record for most children singing and using sign language at the same time.

The idea was promoted by deaf charity SignHealth to raise money and help educate children about deafness.
A special song was written for this year's event, which aimed to top the 114,277 children who took part last year.

The headteacher of Bishops Down Primary School in Tunbridge Wells, Dan Turvey, said: "We had 341 people taking part, including pupils, parents and staff, which was great."
