Job losses loom as clothes firm goes bust
SIX staff face losing their jobs after women's clothing shop Ellie Louise went into administration.
The chain's Herne Bay store only opened in one of the new Bank Street units a year ago. Now its future hangs in the balance as accountants Zolfo Cooper decide what to do with the ailing company.
None of the staff at the Bay shop would comment.
The Leeds company operated 97 shops across the UK, including the Budget Box, Ellie Louise and Trade Secret.

Graham Wild, a partner at Zolfo Cooper which has been appointed as the administrator, said "challenging trading conditions" had led to increased financial pressure on the company.
He added: "We intend to trade the business in order to ensure that we identify the best possible outcomes regarding preservation of jobs, the value of the business and returns to creditors. We will make further announcements as appropriate."
