A TRIBUTE concert being staged in memory of dead king of pop Michael Jackson is to be screened in Dover tonight.

The memorial show, which is taking place in Los Angeles, will be shown on the big screen in the Market Square from 6pm this evening.

It will follow the star's funeral which is being held shortly before the concert. Among the stars set to appear are Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie and Smokey Robinson.

The screening this evening will be a trial run for future events on the giant screen. It will be stewarded by Dover District Council and alcohol is strictly prohibited.
