FOLKESTONE Invicta stayed top of Ryman One South with a 3-1 Kent derby win over Sittingbourne thanks to goals by Frankie Chappell, James Everitt and Simon Austin.

Keen to get revenge for an FA Cup defeat by the Brickies on the same pitch last month, Invicta roared into the game and scored twice in the first 11 minutes, both from corners.

Sittingbourne responded immediately through Jimmy Bottle and took the game to the home side but Invicta confirmed their victory with an excellent 20-yarder from Austin in the second half.
