Hotel given signed copy of Olympic Ode
A DOVER hotel has been presented with a signed and framed copy of the Pindaric Ode for the 2012 Olympic Games.
Dover Marina Hotel, on the seafront, was given it by members of the Rotary Club of South Foreland on Wednesday night.
The Ode was commissioned by Boris Johnson for the 2012 Olympics and composed by Dr Armand D'Angour, who was a speaker at one of the rotary club's meetings.
The copy is signed by Dr D'Angour and it is hoped it will be displayed in a prominent location at the hotel.
