Hawkinge and Densole residents warned of scheduled roadworks
ROADWORKS are due to take place in Shepway next week.
Kent County Council will be resurfacing Minter Avenue in Densole and Fernfield and Fern Close in Hawkinge on Friday, March 8.
It is expected to take two days but residents have been warned access to properties will be restricted while work is carried out in front of each property.
Stop-and-go control signs will be used to keep traffic flowing in both directions.

County councillor Susan Carey said: "I want to warn people that the road surface will look rough at first. This is normal and it takes four to six weeks of use by traffic before it improves.
"There have been lots of other places where it's been used and people have initially thought the work has been badly done. It is in fact a cost effective and less disruptive way of doing the work."
