A GREATSTONE builder has denied murdering a woman in her Romney Marsh home.

Paul Fender, 43, appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, accused of killing Karen Martin in Hardy Road, Greatstone, on November 20 last year.

Fender, of The Parade, is accused of stabbing Mrs Martin.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Croydon Crown Court on Monday, June 7 for trial.
