A SPECTACULAR long-range strike from Norton's Kerry Glover secured all three points for Ben Taylor's side in this Kent League derby.

The Lilywhites started brightly putting the home side under pressure from the opening whistle as they dominated the first half. However, missed chances, including Lee Shearer hitting the post saw the game goalless at half time.

The second period saw Norton take to the field with renewed vigour that saw them dominate most of the half, albeit without creating too many scoring chances.

Steve Lloyd gave Town the lead on 71 against the run the play, but it was short-lived as Norton's Tommy Price levelled within five minutes.

Then with only two minutes of normal time remaining Glover smashed home the winner for Norton from 30 yards.
