Gillingham new-boys Ryan Williams and Michael Richardson are in contention to make their debuts at home to Dagenham.

Fulham winger Williams and Newcastle midfielder Richardson arrived on loan deals on Thursday to boost manager Martin Allen's squad.

Leading scorer Danny Kedwell again misses out with a hamstring injury which is expected to keep him sidelined for around three weeks.

Midfielder Charlie Allen will be assessed having sustained a wrist problem in Tuesday's goalless draw at York. He had shrugged off an ankle complaint to take part at Bootham Crescent.

Boss Allen is also waiting on a couple of players struggling with illness and bumps and bruises but is keeping his cards close to his chest regarding their identity.

Dagenham can again claim a full-strength squad.

Manager John Still has enjoyed the luxury of a fully-fit side for several weeks and will be desperate to record back-to-back wins for the first time since mid-December.

Still, who often resists tinkering with his line-up unnecessarily, must decide whether to stick with the same starting XI that recorded a 1-0 win over Cheltenham last weekend - Dagenham's first-ever triumph against the Robins.

Defender Gavin Hoyte came in for Billy Bingham as the only change from the side that drew 0-0 at Plymouth the week previous.

However, Still does have options should he wish to alter things against second-placed Gills, with Bingham, Brian Woodall, Kevin Maher and Jake Reed all pushing for recalls.
