Fundraising Abi gathers prizes for Pilgrims' raffle
MEAT, a massage and a cuddly toy are among the items up for grabs in a charity raffle.
Abi Calder, who runs The Activity Box in Mortimer Street, Herne Bay, is hoping to raise money for Pilgrims Hospice where she used to work as a nurse.
She has called on other businesses in the town to join her in donating prizes for the raffle, which will be drawn on Thursday, December 6.
She said: "I have seen first-hand the difference the money makes at the hospice.

"At the moment, the nurses don't have enough fans to keep patients cool on the wards. That is what I will buy with the money raised. It will make an instant difference."
In the past, Abi has raised hundreds of pounds for charities including Saddle For Stanley and Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.
Raffle tickets, which cost 50p each or £2 for a strip of five, are available from The Activity Box and Wild Daisy Florist.
