Fun and games for teams at It's A Knockout competition
CONES and clothes lines were no match for determined disabled people who competed in an annual competition.
Teenagers and adults took part in Whitstable and Herne Bay Lions Club's It's a Knockout contest, where they balanced eggs on spoons, negotiated their way around an obstacle course of cones and raced to hang washing on a clothes line.
Creative competitors were catered for with a challenge to design and draw a joker for a pack of cards and young and old took part in a dance contest during a disco after the main games.
Joint winners were the Acorn team from Canterbury's MCCH Society and Thanet Disabled Riding Centre.

Janet from Acorns won the design-a-joker competition while Ben, Christine, James and June were rewarded for their disco dancing.
All winners received a medal.
Four Lions Clubs and a Lioness Club, including Canterbury Lions, helped organise the event at the University of Kent at Canterbury last Sunday (April 22).
The competition was sponsored by Pharon Independent Financial Services Ltd for the fifth year in a row and everybody who took part was given a certificate.
Club representative Tricia Martin said: "They really enjoyed it and had a lovely time. I would like to thank our sponsors."
