Frustration mounts for Webb after latest crash
IT was a case of so near but yet so far for Pembury's Danny Webb in Assen.
For most of the Moto3 race, the 21-year-old was just off the back of the 20-strong train charging around the Dutch circuit. Lingering in the background Webb pushed as hard as he could to pick up the slipstream, but ended up crashing out with seven laps to go.

FRUSTRATED: Danny Webb crashed out again at the weekend CREDIT Graham Holt
"I couldn't do anything," he said. "I just couldn't get up alongside them.
"If I had a bit more power I would have been there, but unfortunately it didn't work out. In the end I tried too hard and crashed. I think I was maybe just over-riding. It's just frustrating."

Webb revealed engines upgrades should be available for his Mahindra bike by Mugello next weekend.
First up, however, is Germany on Sunday. It's a tight track and Webb will be hoping engine power isn't such an issue.
"Hopefully it will be better," he said. "I'll just have to see what the bike is like under acceleration."
Webb said he is still talking to a few teams with a view to a change of bike next season. More news on that to follow.
