Jamie Brian Connor, of Hollands Avenue, was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning shortly after police were alerted to a break-in at a chemist in Black Bull Road, Folkestone.

The 29-year-old was charged with burglary other than dwelling and remanded to appear before Folkestone Magistrates via the virtual court video link.

He was sentenced on Tuesday to 305 days imprisonment for burglary, breach of bail and theft.
