Flytippers a real menace to area
BROKEN fridges, sheets of asbestos and tyres are strewn over parts of the Sevenoaks countryside in a shocking scene of flytipping.
In the worst case, a truck load of car parts litters a byway off Cotmans Ash Lane, Kemsing, making it barely passable for walkers.
The St Clere Estate, in Kemsing, has been particularly badly hit, with tyres, garden waste and a fridge dumped outside its field.
It costs thousands of pounds to clear.
Farmer Fred French, who manages the land, said illegally dumped rubbish happened on a weekly basis at the estates.
He said: "You would have thought being near Sevenoaks, which is quite a nice area, it would not be as bad for flytipping.

“Fact..Flytippers do not live in the area.
Fact..Flytippers pass through and use the secluded areas to tip.
Fact...Most of the tipping is from renovation or building extension and fitted kitchens etc..
Fact..Bob the builder cares little for the environment if he can save money.
