ANGELS, wise men and shepherds sang carols in their village nativity play.

Parents and onlookers gathered in Seal to watch children – most of whom were pupils from Seal Primary – celebrate Christmas.

After the performance, the youngsters paraded down Church Road to St Peter and St Paul Church, where they joined in with more carol singing and enjoyed a special Christmas fete.

Event organiser Marion Gilchrist, of the Know Your Neighbours group in Seal, said: "We love events like this in Seal, where we see many locals of all ages coming together to celebrate Christmas."
