Fans rush to see the Chopper
TICKETS are selling fast for an Evening with Ron "Chopper" Harris at Margate Football Club.
The event is due to take place in the Danny Sullivan Sports Bar on Friday, March 8. There were 100 tickets originally available for the night of entertainment, but only 30 are left.

Chopper Harris played for Chelsea in the 60s and 70s and was part of the side that won the FA Cup in 1970 against Leeds United and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup a year later against Real Madrid.
The evening has been arranged to raise much-needed funds for the club after the club's main sponsor Construct Stadia went into liquidation, wiping out a quarter of Gate's income.

Tickets are priced at £20 to include a fish & chip supper. During the evening there will also be a chance to bid for some football memorabilia.
Tickets are available from the club office during office hours, at the club shop on matchdays and also via the online club shop. Tables for ten people can be reserved on a first come, first served basis by calling 01843 221769.
If the evening is a success the club will make football legend evenings in the Danny Sullivan Sports Bar a regular feature.
