Famous footballers visit Sandwich
FOOTBALLERS Gary Lineker and Frank Lampard were in Sandwich yesterday for the second day of filming for a new Walkers crisps advert.
The past and present England stars were also joined by celebrity chef Marco Pierre White for the shoot in the town.

Gary and Frank joined local footballers for a kick-about at Sandwich Technology school - but it took a while for identity of the mystery visitors to dawn on some of the players.
England and Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard said: "It was really great fun meeting some of the local lads, and it was brilliant seeing their reactions when I got on the pitch. They didn't recognise me at first because my hood was up."

“Just a pity Walkers say nothing exciting happens in a Sandwich. Well it does in our Sandwich. Look out for The Open Championship at Royal St. George's in July 2011.
