Family of missing autistic man offer £10,000 reward

The family of missing St Leonards man Piers Hopson, aged 35, are offering a £10,000 reward for his safe return.

Mr Hopson, who suffers from Aspergers, a form of autism, went missing from his home address in Southwater Road, St Leonards, on Monday 25 January, at around 2.30pm.

He said he was going for a walk 14 days ago, but has not returned home.

His parents, of Melfort Road in Crowborough, told the Courier last week: "We don't know what sort of state of mind he is in and certainly, having been out for over a week, he must be in a dreadful state."

Police are following up possible sightings of Piers in Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Eastbourne and Hailsham. He is known to like walking and uses the local bus network.

If you find Mr Hopson and he is unwell, please call 999 immediately to request police and ambulance attendance.
