Ellisa's haunting role with Daniel
SCHOOLGIRL Ellisa Walker-Reid beat 2,000 other wannabe actresses to win a role in the hit Hammer horror movie The Woman In Black.
Ellisa, 11, landed the part of one of the three Fisher girls in the creepy blockbuster starring Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe.
The film was released on Friday but sadly Ellisa's character meets a tragic end just moments into the film after jumping from an attic window.
Incredibly, Ellisa, who goes to St Edmund's School in Canterbury, did the stunt herself.
She said: "It was really scary. I had to jump out of a 12ft high window. There were lots of mats and I was told exactly where to land and in what position.
"Apart from that, it was really fun on the set."
She filmed her role at a creepy mansion in Edinburgh and Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, the former home of the James Bond movies.
During the shoot Harry Potter fan Ellisa celebrated her birthday – and Daniel joined her.
She said: "He's a really nice person and now a really good friend. He's such an amazing actor. I have every single Harry Potter film.
"When I heard I had won the part I was really happy and proud. My schoolfriends were amazed and tell everyone about it."
Ellisa has also appeared in a Sainsbury's advert with Jamie Oliver, and had a stint playing Gretel in The Sound of Music at the London Palladium.
She lives with her mum Tamra, 46, and her kitchen designer dad Andrew, 45. She says she caught the acting bug from her big sister Aimee, 16.
Her seven-year-old sister Lucia now also wants to act.
Tamra said: "Ellisa's been very lucky. It's all about being in the right place at the right time.
"It was an amazing experience for her because she is seeing places she wouldn't normally have seen.
"It is very emotional for me. The first time I saw her on stage I cried.
"I'm just very proud of her."
Ellisa was guest of honour at a special screening of the film in Ashford on Tuesday.
