Dover keeper Mikhael Ruiz hits out at treatment at Crabble
WHITES goalkeeper Mikhael Ruiz has claimed he was singled out in the dressing room and made to feel a scapegoat by manager Nicky Forster as Dover self-destructed to miss out on the play-offs.
In an exclusive interview with the Dover Express, Venezuelan Ruiz revealed:
- Forster SINGLED him out as the reason Dover were losing in front of his own team-mates at half-time.
- That other players lost RESPECT for him and no one came to SUPPORT him after hearing the boss' words
- He lost faith in the manager and gave it his all in the last three months of the season for the TREMENDOUS Crabble fans
"The club is so professional and there are so many people, good people there – like the amazing fans. Brownie (assistant manager Steve Brown) was great too.

"But sometimes when you don't get promotion you have to find people to blame. The manager didn't deal with me right and he made the other players lose faith in me by blaming me in games in the dressing room.
"It's time to go somewhere I'm appreciated now but I can't thank the fans enough - they were great."
