Denly ton fails to prevent Spitfires from crashing to home defeat
KENT were left kicking themselves after falling to a two-run defeat against Hampshire on Sunday.
Despite an unbeaten 102 from Joe Denly and 73 from Martin van Jaarsveld, the Spitfires left themselves too much to do in the final overs as they fell agonisingly short with six wickets still in hand.

Earlier James Tredwell (3-40) and Matt Coles (3-56) shared the wickets as the visitors made 238 for 7 to set up the win that moved them level with Kent on six points in Clydesdale Bank 40 Group C.
