Town centre manager John Barber said hundreds of people had come into the town for the occasion.
He added: "It's been wonderful.
"The community spirit in Folkestone over the last few weeks has been fantastic and that continued throughout the Multicultural Festival.
"On Sunday, there was a disabled girl who was so taken by the music, she got up and started dancing.
"Everyone took it as their cue to join in and she was dancing happily for ages with a big smile on her face. That really made it for me."
