Cyclist dies after collision in Folkestone
A CYCLIST who was flown to a London hospital after falling from his bike in Folkestone at the weekend has died.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances around the collision on Saturday, January 12.
The cyclist, a 61-year-old man, was travelling down Dover Hill, Folkestone, at around 12.20pm when he became unseated from his bicycle.
He was flown to a London hospital with serious injuries but later died.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or who may have seen the male before the incident travelling from the Dover direction.
The bicycle was distinctive in that that was a large bundle on the back of it.

“After 47 years of driving,now 68,never ever had an accident,for the safety of others on the road I finished driving. Sadly in a short time I have had two narrow escapes with cars while riding my bike.More cycle awareness is a must.”
