Cranbrook pupils take part in 16 mile trek

STUDENTS from Cranbrook School took time out from their busy timetables to trek for 16 miles through Hemsted Forest.

More than 730 pupils set off on the strenuous charity walk as part of their fundraising programme of events.

The trek was the last of the school's annual Lenten fundraising events – which has raised more than £20,000 for its chosen charities.

These are the Hawkhurst Cottage Hospital, Demelza House, Mid Kent Breast Cancer Association and Canterbury Oast Trust.
