FA Cup: Hythe Town 2 Faversham 1

HYTHE Town shaded their Kent League rivals to reach the Second Qualifying Round after a needle match at Reachfields.

With several high profile ex-Hythe players in their squad, Faversham went behind to a cracking first half goal from Pat Kingwell.

Faversham - managed by former Hythe number two Justin Luchford - levelled soon after half-time, but a late strike by midfielder Dave Cook puts Scott Porter's side into the hat on Monday.
