Cocaine and cannabis plants seized in four raids in Maidstone
COCAINE, cannabis and cash were seized during raids at four addresses in Maidstone this week.
Officers went first to Gravelly Bottom Road at 1pm on Wednesday, February 24, where a cannabis farm was found with plants worth in excess of £10,000.
Later that afternoon another squad raided a flat in Kingfisher Meadow, where more of the drug was discovered.
On February 25 officers swooped on a flat in Wallis Avenue, where further cannabis plants were found. The haul was thought to be worth about £500.
Police also uncovered a quantity of cash and cocaine at a property in Connaught Close.
None of the raids were linked.
Sergeant Andy Miller from the Urban Neighbourhood Team said: "Wherever we receive information about illegal drug use or supply, we will respond swiftly to deal with such matters.
"We are committed to reacting to residents concerns and bringing those involved in drug dealing to justice."
Four men were arrested during the raids. None have yet been charged.
