THERE will be two comedians for the price of one next week, when Kiwi comic Jarred Christmas and deadpan funnyman Gary Delaney take centre stage.

The pair, who perform at the Brook Theatre in Chatham from 8pm on Monday, will have the audience rolling in the aisles with their distinctive humour.

Jarred, the Chortle Award-winner and star of un-PC Pot Noodle ads, has sat on the panels of Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, attracting praise for his energetic and surreal performances.

Crowds can expect to be taken on a "hilarious thrill-ride of laughs and gasps," courtesy of the comic described by critics as "fabulously boisterous, with a definite future."

But beware of his acerbic edge, which manifests itself in his incredible rants against the every day annoyances we can all relate to.

Gary Delaney – widely regarded as "the most quotable comic on the circuit" – will inject quick-fire quips into the mix, delivered in his notoriously nonchalant manner.

Delaney has written material for fellow funnymen, Jason Manford and Micky Flanagan, and has been described as "the man Jimmy Carr tries to be."

No stranger to Medway, Brummie Delaney also trod the Brook Theatre's boards in July last year, alongside Geordie comedienne Sarah Millican, his partner.

Tickets cost £13.50, or £12.50 for Medway Comedy Club members, and can be booked online at www.medwayticketslive.co.uk or call 01634 338338.
