Cash stolen in Thanet toy store raid

​THREE men have stolen cash from an isle toy store in a daring daytime raid.

The men walked into Smyth's toys on Margate Road, Westwood at 5.30pm on December 1 last year.

One of the men distracted the cashier while the other two men broke into some of the tills.

POlice have release CCTV images of the men they wish to speak to.

All three men are white and around 25 years old and between five foot eight and five foot ten inches tall.

One has receeding dark hair and was wearing a green and blue horizontal striped top and dark trousers.

Another has thining dark hair and was wearing a blue hooded sleeveless jacket, with a grey long sleeved top underneath, grey tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

The third man has black hair and was wearing a grey and black tracksuit top with a red hood, dark trousers and black trainers.

Anyone with any information, or who can identify any of the men in the CCTV images is asked to contact PC Dan Smitherman on 01227 868372. PC Smitherman is also keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have been in and around the Smyth's store between 5-6pm on that day.
