Cancer not stopping dame Mark's panto
A YOUNG boy who lost his father to cancer last March received a hand-crafted wooden rocking horse for Christmas.
Four-year-old Sam Abbott, from Lydd, won the prize in a raffle organised by local fundraiser Ron Taber, who built the horse to raise money for Pilgrims Hospice.
His mother Sarah Palmer said: "It was so amazing, it was as if this was meant to be for Sam."
