TIRED legs in their fourth game in eight days cost Sittingbourne as they lost 3-2 at home to Burgess Hill in Ryman South.

After an unbeaten run of seven games at home, and four successive clean sheets in the league, they conceded a goal in the third minute.

Karl Dent shot them level soon after but the Sussex visitors went ahead again on 27 minutes.

Thye were reduced to 10 men after 39 minutes when Gregory was sent off for a second yellow card - Burgess Hill had four other players booked as well during the match.

The Brickies battled hard throughout the second half to pull it back and Elie Kayembe had a goal controversially ruled out for offside.

Burgess Hill, always dangerous on the break, got a third in the 89th minute and although the Brickies pulled one back through top scorer Hicham Akhazzan it wasn't enough.

Sittingbourne's relentless run of fixtures continues tomorrow night when they're home to Wealdstone in the Championship Manager Cup and on Saturday they attempt to get their play-off bid going again when they're home to Met Police.
