Bayley helps power team to win bronze
CYCLING speedster Tim Bayley helped power the three-man Artic SRAM Racing team to win bronze in the National Team Time Trial Championship.
Bayley, from Hythe, was part of the team that was crowned Kent TTT champions and they followed that up with an inspired showing on the 35.5-mile hilly course in Hampshire.

The team averaged over 28mph and reached speeds of over 50mph in the fight for second place, which ended 13 seconds short after an hour and 15 minutes of racing.
Bayley, 38, was part of the same team that won silver in 2008.

He said: "In 2008 we were gutted not to get gold. We led the race from the start and lost the race in the last few miles – but this time was different.
"The course was extremely technical with tough rolling climbs and strong winds.
"We were racing against teams of riders that have been running very close to some of the UK pros that are riding in the Tour de France.
"It would be very easy to lose significant time so to be so near shows we have moved forward."
Bayley's next target is the Kent Cycling Association individual 10-mile time trial.
He will then go for gold in the National Hill-Climb Championships in October, where he is aiming for his third team title.
