ARTISTS are being offered an opportunity to showcase their work at the new base of marketing and online company the Deeson Group.

The Canterbury company wanted to create a stimulating environment in its premises as well as giving local artists a chance to reach a broader audience and sell some of their work.

The firm's move from Faversham to Castle Street, Canterbury signalled a new phase for the company, said managing director Dominic Deeson.

He said: "We have chosen Canterbury to house our headquarters, because it offers easy access to our customers and we feel our business complements the strong creative culture in Canterbury.

"By opening up our premises to artists we hope to build ongoing creative links with the local community."
