Arson attack on private driveway in Ashford
TWO cars were destroyed during an arson attack in Bethersden last night.
A hose reel, breathing apparatus and foam to protect the nearby buildings were used when Kent Fire service arrived at the blaze at 5.00am on Sunday morning.
A fire engine each from Tenterden and Ashford responded to the call, putting out the blaze before any person or property had been affected.
The incident took place on a private driveway in Chester Avenue, near Ashford.
