RAMSGATE residents were given a free air display last Thursday when the Red Arrows flew in and out of Manston.

The RAF display team, who fly in BAE Hawks, used the airport to refuel before and after their performance at the War and Peace show in Paddock Wood.

A number of other classic warplanes flew into the airport during the show.
