Arrests made after attack near nightclub in Rochester
A 29-YEAR-OLD Londoner has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent in connection an attack in Rochester at the weekend.
The man, who has not been named, has been bailed until May 12.
Spencer Dodgson, 27, of Scholars Rise, Strood, suffered severe head injuries when he was kicked during an assault which took place close to the Casino Rooms nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning.
He is in a stable condition in a London hospital with his family at his bedside.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in Blue Boar Lane car park during a mass brawl between several men.

At the time of the assault, a 28-year-old man from Orpington was cautioned for unrelated public order offences.
Three other men, a 19-year-old from Kennington, a 19-year-old from Brixton and a 25-year-old from South Lambeth, have been bailed until April 19 pending further enquiries.
